Grace So Amazing

Knowing God’s Love

Do you know how MUCH God loves YOU?    Do you know the DEPTH of His MERCY that covers YOU?    Our prayer is that you KNOW HIM… deeply,  completely with the soul-satisfying PEACE that comes from only Him, your Creator.

Consider these verses from God’s Word, His special love letter, to YOU:
“For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they (all) are without excuse.”  Romans 1:20
Every aspect of the natural world draws our attention to the Creator, the One who spoke the heavens and earth into existence.   Every piece of of His world shows His power and beauty.   We were created to enjoy the work of His hands, we were created to enjoy and love Him.   And yet…
“… for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23
All have sinned… all.    Sin is a word that seems to be ‘out of favor’ these days.  To make Christianity more palatable or attractive, we often water down the idea of sin.     Sin is, in its simplest form, separation from the One who created us.   Sin can manifest itself in so many ways… subtle and not-so-subtle.    God, being holy and just, hates sin. And yet…
“God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
While humanity was/is still wallowing in itself, God still sent Christ to die for our very own souls.  It is mind-boggling to consider such love.
“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 6:23
A righteous, just God has every right to judge fairly.   Because of our sin, He has every right to call us condemned.  However,  because of His magnificent mercy, God has chose to offer us a free gift… forgiveness and eternal life with Him for those who are in Christ.    How does one accept such a gift?
“If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;  for with the heart a person believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”  Romans 10: 9-10
“For Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  Romans 10:13
It really is that simple.   God wants His people in a relationship to Him.  It is NOT about religion.  It is NOT about the list of To-Dos.   It is about our HEARTS.   He wants it ALL… and He stands offering something so beautiful in return:  Forgiveness from the weight of sin, Mercy, Grace and true Peace.   It is His to give… and He wants to give it to YOU.

In prayer today God spoke" The world is our classroom". Went to see if this was on the internet. We were amazed at the blog and finding that same work He's doing in us just connected us with a family we do not know, yet know in Christ. Thank you for the honesty in your righteousness, We have to be honest concerning our struggles for Christ"s sake so people know we are real & can be trusted. I've seen the love of Jesus break down strongholds in people that dislike & even hate Christians. The apostle Paul writes that when we are weak, then we are strong that the power of Christ can come within us. Therefore, we will be foolish to man,die to self more, and love others as Jesus loves us. Thank you for your work on the mission field. It is the hands & feet of Jesus. We live in Iowa and our mission field is in our home first, then out to the world.
